To simplify management and monitoring of SAP Notes, you can assign them a status. You can then filter the SAP Notes by their status.
Example
If an SAP Note is to be implemented, set its status to To be Implemented. You can then filter the SAP Notes so that only those to be implemented are displayed.
If an SAP Note is not relevant for you, set its status to Irrelevant.
Recommendation
Consider release-independent SAP Notes, particularly security notes. Release-independent SAP Notes contain general information that cannot be assigned to one system. Depending on their importance for your solution, you can assign SAP Notes a status by which they can later be filtered.
Select the SAP Notes for which you want to set a status.
Select the status in Set Status.
The Status column displays the selected status. The User column contains your user ID.
To filter the list by a status, choose the status in Show Status.
SAP Notes with this status are displayed.
Note
Use the columns Automatic Implementation and Manual Implementation to estimate the effort required to implement the SAP Notes. When you implement support packages, you often no longer need to implement SAP Notes.
