You can assign attributes to EEMon robots, to assign them to levels, by regional or functional criteria, for example.

You can use categories to configure the display hierarchy in the EEMon monitor tree view and to compare different executions of EEMon scripts. You can, for example, compare a logon step of various EEMon scripts by region. For more information, see End User Experience Monitor.

The following levels are specified by default:

  1. Region (e.g. AMERICAS, EMEA, APJ)

  2. Country

  3. Location

You can:

  • add levels

  • change the level sequence

Example Example

You have the following requirements:

  • You want to distinguish the EEMon robots at the highest level by operating system.

  • You want to distinguish work areas, under the level “City”.

Specify the following parameters:

Prerequisites

  • You have administrator authorization.

  • You are currently performing the Monitoring step of the guided procedure for setting up End User Experience Monitoring in the SAP Solution Manager: Configuration work center.

Procedure

  1. Choose the Robots tab.

  2. Choose Edit.

  3. Optional: Add the attributes and specify the sort sequence:

    1. Choose Settings

    2. To add new attributes, choose the Column Selection tab.

    3. Specify the sort criteria and sequence:

      1. Choose the Order tab.

      2. Choose the sort criteria in the list Unsorted Columns, and choose Add.

      3. Specify the sort sequence:

    4. Choose Save as... to save the settings.

    5. Choose OK.

      The attribute is added.

  4. Save your entries.

Result

The values of the attributes appear in the End User Experience Monitor in windows of type Overview.
