In incident management, you have various options for finding a message.

Finding Messages in the Work Center

To find your messages as reporter or processor, you can display the message in the overview or in lists, or you can start queries for messages.

Overview and Message List

You have the following options for searching for a support message:

  • To obtain an overview of all messages, choose Overview. The messages are sorted by activity type and user status in the content area. You can then also check the status of a message.

  • To display a list of messages for one activity type only (for example, problem messages), choose Messages and select the relevant activity type in the overview.

    In the content area for Messages, choose the filter options or criteria you require.

Queries

To find support messages with predefined queries according to specific criteria, choose Query.

The queries you have defined are displayed in the content area.
