Download the CBTA client and install locally. CBTA allows you to configure the following:

  • On request by SAP support, you can adapt the log settings and download error logs.

  • In case of errors you can record test scripts without using screen components.

  • To improve readability, you can adjust the contrast of the CBTA user interface.

Procedure

  1. Download the CBTA client and install it locally. For more information, see SAP Note 1763697.

  2. To start the client configuration, do one of the following:

    • In the Test Management work center, choose   Administration   CBTA Settings   Maintain Client Settings  .

    • Under Microsoft Windows, choose   Start   CBTA   CBTA Configuration  .

  3. You have the following options:

    • On the Recording tab page, you have the following options:

      • Under Component Creation you can record test scripts without screen components.

        Example Example

        If errors occur in screen components, you can compose a test script based only on default components.

      • To increase the contrast of the user interface and improve readability, in the User Interface Theme list select SAP Accessibility.

    • On the Log tab page, adapt the log settings if required by SAP support.

  4. Save your entries.
