Data Volume Management Planning Dashboard Apps 
The DVM Planning Dashboard apps provide an overview of the amount of data and its age distribution, in your online database ABAP-based SAP systems and application components. The age distribution and the distribution of data across the system landscape indicate which data reduction measures would be most effective. In the DVM Planning Dashboard, the data is displayed in gigabytes. Detailed information about the charts is displayed in quick info texts.
Overview
The app gives an overview of the amount of data in your systems and application areas. In the Systems view, the app displays the amount of data in each selected system. In the Application Area view, the app displays the amount of data in each selected application area.
Each system is indicated by a color, in both the Systems and the Application Area view, so you can identify the amount of data in each system and application area, see how it is distributed across the system landscape, and plan your data reduction measures accordingly.
The following apps display detailed information about the age distribution from a business perspective.
Yearly Data
The app shows, for a selected application area or system, the business-process-related age distribution of your data in years. You can display the data as a pie chart or a bar chart.
Monthly Data
The app shows, for a selected application area or system and year, the business-process-related age distribution of your data in months. You can display the data as a pie chart or a bar chart.
Table Data
The app shows, for a selected application area or system and year, the business-process-related age distribution of your data in months. The app displays the data in a table. You can sort the table using the column headers.
