This view displays the number of business processes for which alerts appeared in the business process monitoring, the data consistency monitoring, or the data volume monitoring.

You can specify whether the number of alerts displayed considers only the most recent alerts or all the open alerts. You can also filter the list of business processes by alert value or scenario.

Detailed information can be called up for each business process, such as the business process steps, the technical interfaces, a graphical overview of the steps, and Service Desk messages for existing alerts.

  • You have created at least one solution with business processes.

  • An alert has occurred for this solution in the business process monitoring area.

Displaying Details of Business Processes

When you select a business process in the list, the system displays details for the related business process in the detail area on the following tabs:

Note Note

The value shown in the list and the graphical overview is based on the alert view previously set to (Current or Open). You can change the alert view.

End of the note.
  • Business Process Steps tab

Here, the business process steps that belong to a business process are listed. Along with the business process steps for which monitoring is set up, you see the evaluation.

You can filter this list based on the evaluations. This means that you can specify that all business process steps are displayed, or only steps with red, yellow or green evaluations.

If you choose the name of a business process, you go to the Business Process view.

If you choose the name of a business process step to which an evaluation is assigned, you go to the Alert Inbox with all information about the alert.

  • Technical Interfaces tab

Here you see the technical interfaces for the business process steps.

  • Graphical Overview tab

Here you see a graphical representation of the business process steps, and, if there are any, the technical interfaces. Synchronous interfaces are shown by dotted lines, asynchronous interfaces by solid lines.

In the graphic, alerts are represented by small red or yellow squares, or by a green checkmark. When you choose one of these symbols, you go to the Alert Inbox.

    Note Note

In the graphic, the highest alert that has appeared for this step is displayed as the overall status of the process step.

    End of the note.

If you choose the name of a business process in the graphical overview, you go to the graphical overview of the Business Processes view, which shows the business process steps.

  • Service Desk Messages for Existing Alerts tab

On this tab you can see whether there are Service Desk messages for alerts that were created in the business process monitoring session. Here you will also find detailed information on these messages, such as priority, component, and status. If you choose the ID or description of a message, you go to the message and can edit it.
