Prerequisites

You are in the SAP Solution Manager Management work center.

Procedure

  1. Choose the Landscape view.

  2. Select the system in which the configuration repository upload failed.

  3. Choose Configuration and Change Database.

  4. In the Delayed Extractors column, check whether delayed extractors are displayed, and check when the extractor last ran successfully:

    Delayed extractors are extractors which have not run since the start of the previous day.

    1. Click on the number displayed in the Delayed Extractors column.

      You go to the Extractor Framework.

      All delayed extractors are displayed.

    2. Select an extractor.

      The extractor sessions are displayed in the Log tab.

    3. Go back to the CCDB management.

    4. Select the system.

      The list of configuration repositories appears.

      If there are delayed extractors, there will be configuration repositories with the main status Delayed.

      • If only configuration repositories with the main status Delayed are displayed, wait for the next extraction.

      • If configuration repositories with the main status Error and Delayed are also displayed, do the following:

        1. Check the error message.

        2. Resolve the error.

        3. Wait for the next extraction, the next day, to check whether the error has been resolved.

  5. Check whether failed extractions are displayed, in the Failed Extractors column:

    1. To display error messages, click on the number displayed in the Failed Extractors column.

      You go to the Extractor Framework.

    2. Identify the cause and resolve the error. For further information, see Identify Extractor Errors.

    3. Wait for the next extraction, the next day, to check whether the error has been resolved.

  6. Identify other errors:

    1. Click on the number in the Errors column.

      The configuration repositories which could not be uploaded are displayed.

    2. In the View field, choose Error Analysis.

      An error description is displayed in the Last Upload Status column.
