Note Note

When a filter is applied for the first time for a technical system, no note information is displayed, although there may be relevant notes. A message tells you that you must perform either a manual or automatic update.

This is because when you apply a filter, the note information is loaded from the SAP Solution Manager, not directly from the SAP Support Portal. Only note information that has been passed previously can be displayed. The date of the last update is displayed in the row Last Refresh.

End of the note.

To update the note information, you can:

  • Activate automatic update (see Update Notes Automatically). The notes are updated regularly, automatically.

Use automatic note information update for all monitored systems.

  • Update the note information manually. Choose Refresh. Update the note information manually, if the monitored solutions have been changed recently, or if you expect new notes for a system, for example because of a security patch.

The note information for the last month is passed from SAP Support Portal to SAP Solution Manager, and displayed. This can take some time.
