This report reads the S users for SAP customer numbers, to create business partners and system users in the SAP Solution Manager system for them. The report Generate Business Partners and System Users for IT Service Providers (AI_SDK_SP_GENERATE_BP_V2) automates the creation of system users and business partners for all existing customer numbers of an IT service provider, and transfers all address data.

Prerequisites

  • The report is only relevant for IT service providers (VAR).

  • You are authorized to run the report.

Features

You can make the following entries in the report:

  • Customer number

    The report searches for the S users for SAP customer numbers. You can run this report for all SAP customer numbers of an IT service provider.

  • Business partner options

    You can make further SAP business partner entries, such as authorization type or country assignment for the S user. There are the following authorization types:

    • Service Desk

    • Maintenance Optimizer

    • Service Desk & Maintenance Optimizer

  • System user options

    You can make additional user entries, and set authorization options.

  • General options

    You can specify the report execution mode, lock the user, and display application logs.

Activities

  1. Enter the name of the reports in the transaction SE38.

  2. Enter an SAP customer number.

  3. You can make further entries, as required.

  4. Select the report execution mode.

    Note Note

    Run the report in test mode first, and make any necessary adjustments.
