You do not normally need this function for change requests, since objects are included automatically. You only need to include objects in a request manually for special actions (such as when you relocate individual objects).

To include objects in a request, you have the following options:

In all cases, the objects are initially entered in the object list without locks.

At the latest, the SAP System tries to lock the objects when the request is released. If conflicts then occur with other requests that are locking some of the objects because they are still being edited, then you need to release these change requests first. You can then lock the objects.

This makes sure that your transport request does not transport objects in an undefined intermediate state.
