Maintenance Management 
This process provides numerous options for maintaining your system landscape. This includes accessing SAP Notes with the highest priority, automatic calculation of the files needed for importing an SAP Support Package or Enhancement Package, and the support of automatic importing of corrections from SAP Notes. You will also receive an overview of the license data of your SAP system landscape.
System Recommendations
You can use this function to find appropriate SAP Notes for a technical system, to display them, and to execute additional tasks associated with them. In addition to HotNews, which has been integrted into System Recommendations, you can manage Security Notes, Performance Notes, Legal Change Notes, and Correction Notes. These functions are available in the Change Management work center.
Maintenance Optimizer
The Maintenance Optimizer suggests relevant product versions and systems for maintenance, based on SAP Solution Manager system landscape data, and leads you through the steps to download and implement the product maintenance files. These functions are available in the Change Management work center.
Note Assistant
Enables corrections described in SAP Notes to be imported automatically.
License Management
With a valid maintenance contract, you can supply your managed systems automatically license data (licenses and maintenance certificates) using the SAP Solution Manager. You need the license data to download SAP Support Packages with various installation tools. These functions are available in the Change Management work center.
