Function documentation Analysis: System Administration  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure


You want to analyze the availability of systems for a solution.


You have assigned the roles to the users.



       1.      Call the System Monitoring work center.

       2.      In the Reports view, choose the System Availability Reporting view.

       3.      Start the System Administration Reporting report directly or as a background job.

The report selection screen appears.

       4.      Choose the parameters.

       Reporting period

       Reporting content selection


You can also specify the parameters directly in the Central System Administration session.


       5.      Perform the analysis.

The analysis is presented in ALV grid format. You can adjust the layout to your requirements.


You can also schedule the report as a background job, to send it automatically by mail.




You can also schedule the report as a background job, SM_REP:RDSWP_REP_SYSADM, to send it automatically by mail. You have created a variant for your report. Proceed as follows:

                                                  i.       Choose the symbol This graphic is explained in the accompanying text in the initial screen of your report.

                                                ii.       Select your variant.

                                               iii.       Choose Schedule.

You are in the job definition screen.

                                               iv.       Define the processing for the report.

                                                 v.       Schedule the report.

The system runs the report.
