Procedure

  1. In the navigation area in the WebClient UI, under Create choose Service Request.

    You go to the Select Transaction Type dialog box.

  2. Choose the transaction type.

    Whether you have to select a transaction type depends on how your system is configured. Ask the person responsible for your system about the customer transaction types available.

  3. In the assignment block Details, in the field Description, enter a meaningful description of the service request.

  4. In the Reporter field, enter the name of the person requesting the service.

  5. Choose the message priority, from the value help. You can also use the Effects and Urgency. The system determines the priority from these fields.

  6. Specify a service request category, under Category.

    You can choose further subcategories to be more exact, depending on the category.

  7. Under Text, enter a description of the requested service.

  8. Enter further information about the service request, in the assignment block Service Request, depending on the category.

  9. Check the entries in the assignment block Service Level Agreement, to specify the correct schema and deadlines.

  10. Check the entries in the assignment block Scheduled Actions, to forward the complete list of actions.

  11. Enter further information about the service request.

  12. Save your entries.
