You can display existing job requests. For more information, see Displaying Job Requests.
A job request is based on a Service Desk message with job and job documentation entries.
You have configured the Service Desk in SAP Solution Manager. For more information about the respective settings, see the Customizing for SAP Solution Manager under:
For the CRM-based SAP Solution Manager applications, you have made the iBase-specific settings. Amongst other things, you have defined your system landscape and an installation (iBase). For more information, see the Customizing for SAP Solution Manager under:
You have opened the Job Request application.
You can find and view your Service Desk message. You have the following options:
Via the Job Management work center in the Job Requests screen
All functions of the job request are available via this work center.
Via the Incident Management work center (with transaction SOLMAN_WORKCENTER)
Via the CRM Web client (with transaction CRM_UI)
Note
You can display the Job Scheduling Management permanently in the Web client by using the Personalize function.
The system provides the following job request views:
A Basic View with the Simple Job Request for end users with little knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and job scheduling. The simple job request contains all details on one page.
A Detail View with the Detailed Job Request for end users with SAP Solution Manager and job scheduling expertise. The detailed job request distributes the details between several tabs.
Note
If you use central process scheduling (CPS), you must create and edit the job request with the detail view.
