Procedure documentationUsing the Object List Locate this document in the navigation structure

You can display objects that were attached to a transport request. At least one row with information on the name, object type, last changed by, change date, and related application is displayed for attached objects. Using the Details link you can display detailed information on the object, for example, object ID, short text, and application-specific additional information.

You can also display a detailed object list for objects from the SAP NetWeaver Portal and SAP NetWeaver Development Infrastructure applications that are closely coupled with CTS. You can call this by clicking the triangle symbol in front of the object of type File Container.

Prerequisites

The following prerequisites have to be met in order to display the detailed object list:

  • The transport request contains objects of one of the following applications:

    • SAP NetWeaver Portal objects (apart from KM content and KM configurations) with the status enhancement package 2 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 or higher for which close coupling has been set up.

    • Only when using NWDI with CM Services: NWDI objects with status enhancement package 2 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 or higher for which close coupling is set up.

  • The communication system has the status enhancement package 2 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 or higher

  • The object list is recorded. This is the default.

For further information, see Changing Standard Settings for Source Systems.

  • Only when using NWDI with CM Services: Server where CM services run has the status enhancement package 2 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 or higher.

Procedure

Transport Organizer: Object List Tab Page

You have the following options:

  • You can attach objects to a transport request manually.

For more information, see Attaching Non-ABAP Objects Using File System.

  • You can delete selected objects from the object list.

  • With the Expand All and Collapse All pushbuttons you can either completely expand or collapse the tree structure, if available.

  • Using the Object List Browser link you can switch to the full-screen display of the object list where you can get a better overview of large object lists. The object list browser also offers more detailed search options.

  • The Design Time View pushbutton is only active for SAP NetWeaver Development Infrastructure objects. You can display object information on the development time. To hide the design time view again, select the pushbutton again.

  • Using filters, you can search the object list using either * an + or with defined search criteria.

  • You have the following options in the context menu:

    • You can display the content of the entire transport request in the object list browser using Open Request.

    • You can save the attached file locally using Download File.

    • You can display the request in the Transport Organizer using Display in Transport Organizer.

Object List Browser

The object list browser provides the Object List of the Transport Organizer Web UI in fullscreen mode. This display is easier to work with for large object lists. You can execute the same display actions here as described under Transport Organizer: Tab Page Object List, but you cannot attach or delete objects. If you enter a transport request name in the input field, you can also display the object lists of other transport requests.

The object list browser also opens if you double-click a non-ABAP system request in the Transport Management system of your transport system in the import queue or in the import history.

Using the Search tab page you can use search criteria to search for objects in transport requests on the communication system where the Transport Organizer Web UI is running.
