Procedure documentation Deleting the Configuration of the Transport Workflow  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

In some situations you need to delete the configuration of the transport workflow. This may be necessary because the system that holds the Workflow Engine has been taken out of the transport domain, or can no longer be accessed. Before you can configure the Workflow Engine in another system, you first need to delete the old configuration.

Caution

Workflow-specific data cannot be relocated, which means that you cannot access your old transport proposals after you delete the configuration.

In particular, transport proposals cannot be read from the database, and any unprocessed proposals cannot be completed. Any transports that have been requested will not be performed.

Because of these consequences, only delete the configuration in exceptional cases.

Prerequisites

You have configured the Workflow Engine.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the system functioning as the domain controller.
  2. Call Transaction STMS and then choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text to display the system overview.
  3. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text to display the transport domain.
  4. Choose the tab Workflow Engine.
  5. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text to switch to change mode.
  6. To delete the workflow configuration, choose Extras → Delete Workflow Engine.
  7. Confirm the prompt and distribute the new configuration.
