You can specify the person responsible, and contact person for background processing, on this tab.

You can assign the contact persons to the following areas:

  • Background Processing, for example the job administrator

  • Business Process

  • Development, for example, the software developer

  • Job Documentation, the person responsible for this job documentation

  • Monitoring

  • System Landscape, for example the system administrator

Prerequisites

  • You have created and edited the business partner in transaction BP.

  • You have created and edited the users in transaction SU01.

  • For more information on the prerequisites, see Job Documentation.

Procedure

To add a business partner:

  1. Choose Add.

  2. Choose Business Partner.

    A dialog box appears.

  3. Enter the ten-character business partner number of the contact person you want to add.

    You can use the input help.

  4. Choose an area.

  5. Copy the business partner.

  6. Save your entries.

To add a user:

  1. Choose Add.

  2. Choose User.

    A dialog box appears.

  3. Enter the user name of the contact person you want to add.

    You can use the input help.

  4. Choose an area.

  5. Copy the user.

  6. Save your entries.

Select a contact person from the list, to get detailed contact data about him or her. All contact data specified for the contact person appears in the fields under the list.

To remove a contact:

  1. Select the contact person whom you want to remove, in the list.

  2. Choose Remove.

  3. Select OK.

  4. Save your entries.
