Integration

In SAP ERP, the SAP menu and Customizing activities for Social Services have been incorporated in the menu and Customizing settings for the application component Public Sector Management (PSM). To access the menu and Customizing settings for Public Sector Management, you must activate the mandatory business configuration sets (BC sets) for the Enterprise Extension Public Services (EA-PS).

Social services processing, on the basis of social applications, social service plans and social deduction plans, takes place in the SAP Customer Relationship Managment (SAP CRM) System. The data required for calculation and billing is replicated from here to SAP ERP. • In the Business Function Set Public Services (Industry Extension SAP for Public Sector) under Enterprise Extensions, activate the generic business function Public Services (EA-PS) (see Business Function Set Public Services).

  • You should also activate the business function Social Services, 2013 (CRM_IPS_4S_4) in SAP CRM with this business function.

Once you have activated the business functions described above, make the following settings in the ERP Customizing settings for Social Services:

Settings for the Decision Basis

  • Make the Customizing settings for the decision basis under Start of the navigation path Public Sector Management Next navigation step Social Services Next navigation step Integration Customer Relationship Management Next navigation step Decision Basis End of the navigation path.

  • If you want to archive social services transaction data separately in SAP ERP and SAP CRM, you must make the Customizing settings required to archive decision basis data under Start of the navigation path Public Sector Management Next navigation step Social Services Next navigation step Basic Settings Next navigation step Archiving End of the navigation path.

If you are using a data archiving function that is controlled by SAP CRM, you do not need to make any Customizing settings for decision basis archiving in SAP ERP. When using SAP CRM-controlled data archiving, the archiving object CRM_PSDBA provides the functions for archiving CRM transaction data.

Settings for the Composite Gross Entitlement Calculation

Define the calculation logic for a composite benefit calculation as an exit strategy under Start of the navigation path Public Sector Management Next navigation step Social Services Next navigation step Gross Entitlement Calculation Next navigation step Define Calculation Exit Strategy End of the navigation path.

Features

The functions described in the following are only available if you have activated both business functions for Social Services in the SAP ERP and SAP CRM Systems.

Decision Basis

In SAP ERP, you make the same Customizing settings required for your AET enhancements (Application Enhancement Tool) for the decision basis (DBA) and the DBA item categories as those in SAP CRM. A program run is available to you in ERP for DBA modeling, which replicates modeling objects from SAP CRM to SAP ERP. You execute the replication program RPSSC00_DBA_REPL_MONITOR in Customizing for the decision basis.

Composite Gross Entitlement Calculation

You define the calculation logic for composite benefit processing for several beneficiaries in the Customizing section Gross Entitlement Calculation in a calculation exit strategy. The decision unit parameter required is added to the SXP items.
