You have configured the processes that you want to use in Public Sector Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable
in Customizing. For more information about the system settings required for this business function, see the function release notes.
The following functions have been added to enhance the processing of open items:
You can freely select open items now in account maintenance (transaction FP06
) and in the transactions for manual posting (FPE1
) and for making mass changes to documents (FPE2M)
. You can select essentially using all fields of the line item (structure FKKOP
). The exceptions are those fields that are available on the initial screen or are contained in repetition items.
During processing of open items, for example in account maintenance or when you assign open items to incoming payments, you can display a larger number of columns than before by using the maximum screen size.
If you use line layout variants for entering business partner items during manual posting of documents, you can now display eight customer fields of type CHAR
at the same time within a variant, instead of only five up to now. You can also use these variants in the document display.
As of January 1, 2015, in the European Union, services in the areas of telecommunications, radio, television, and electronically-provided services must be taxed in the country of the recipient of the services. Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable provides functions for meeting this requirement.
You can post and edit down payment requests and down payments with multiple taxes.
For the posting of down payment requests and down payments with one tax, the tax to be posted is not posted as a G/L item in FI-CA, but instead is noted in totals records and posted during the transfer to the general ledger (FI-GL). The tax accounts and tax clearing accounts to be posted are entered during this process in the business partner item (fields MWSKO
and MWVKO
). If the tax code contains multiple tax types, this information (such as tax amount, tax account, and tax clearing account) is now entered in a new append table for the business partner item.
