Rapid Update of Replenishment Movement Data
With this feature, you can use a performance-optimized method for updating replenishment movement data (table WRPT
), which is carried out at the end of each replenishment planning run. The rapid update of replenishment movement data improves performance of the replenishment planning process.
The rapid update of replenishment movement data can be used with classic replenishment planning (RWRPLPRO
) and rapid replenishment planning (RWRPLRRP
).
The rapid update of replenishment movement data should be activated only if:
Replenishment planning is executed without net change logic, or if updates of the replenishment change counter by other processes are not expected to happen during replenishment planning
Replenishment inventory management is not used, or if no updates of replenishment stock by other processes are expected during the replenishment planning run

The rapid update of replenishment movement data can be used with classic replenishment planning (RWRPLPRO
) and rapid replenishment planning (RWRPLRRP
). It is activated via a new Customizing setting that is available after activation of business function ISR_APPL_RRPL. It can be activated separately for classic replenishment planning and rapid replenishment planning.
