Features

Unit of measure-related enhancements for Synchronization Recipe to BOM
  • Extended material conversion for Recipe Development based on net weight

During material conversion, you can use net weight in addition to the existing conversion logic.

  • The use of source unit of measure for BOM items

The BOM item uses the unit of measure of the source recipe's formula item if it is in the dimension of the material's base unit of measure or the unit of issue. In any other case, conversion is performed based on predefined rules.

  • Conversion to avoid precision loss during synchronization

During synchronization, rounding can occur due to different precisions of source and target quantities. This function allows you to switch to a unit of measure with a higher precision to avoid precision loss due to rounding.

For more information, see Synchronizing a Recipe with a Manufacturing BOM.

Explosion logic-related enhancement for Synchronization Recipe to BOM

You can explicitly define the way the formula items are handed over to the reconciliation workbench. For more information, see Synchronizing a Recipe with a Manufacturing BOM and Explosion.
