Identifies an application that uses the search framework.

Use

When you configure a search in customizing, you must specify a search application. For the Claims Management system, specify search application ICL.

The search framework can be used by different applications. The configuration data from different applications is separated from one another to prevent mutual interference.

Integration

For each object of the search framework (such as search category , search , search event ) you must specify the associated search application.

Example

ICL is the registered search application for the Claims Management system.
