You can use this business function to implement the ACL change report for SAP PLM Document Management (SAP PLM DMS). This report allows you to track the changes made to an access control list (ACL) of a document info record (DIR).


The existing report MCDOKABL only retrieved changes made to the metadata of a document; it has been modified to retrieve the changes made to the ACL of a document in addition.

This business function allows you to track the following details of an ACL:

  • Object: Changes made to the user, user group, role and HR objects

  • Status

    • Created: If an ACL is assigned to a DIR

    • Changed: If an ACL is updated

    • Deleted: If an ACL is deleted

    • Old/New: Old and new values of the ACLs assigned to the user

    • Username: User name of the user who updates the ACL

    • Date/Time: Date and time the ACLs were updated
