Data Aging of Financial Accounting Documents
As of SAP Accounting powered by SAP HANA (SAP_FIN 700), the Data Aging
function is available for financial accounting documents. You can use this to transfer data to the database cold area, in order to ease the load on the memory.
The archiving object for the accounting document (FI_DOCUMNT) is replaced by the Data Aging object (FI_DOCUMENT), which means data archiving for accounting documents is no longer possible. As the system no longer stores the transaction figures, the archiving objects for transaction figures are also obsolete.
Effects on Existing Data
You can continue to access accounting documents that have been archived in the past.
