 TRM, Trade Repository Reporting, Archiving TAROs

 

With this product feature you can archive trade repository objects (TAROs) using archiving objects TRTM_FTR and TRTM_TARO.

  • When you archive financial transactions using archiving object TRTM_FTR, system now also archives the corresponding trade repository objects and the external trade IDs.

  • You can archive trade repository objects for external financial transactions and trade repository objects with action type 30 Valuation and 35 Collateral belonging to financial transactions managed in the Transaction Manager using the archiving object TRTM_TARO.

Effects on Existing Data

The archiving object TRTM_FTR has been enhanced with the following tables:

  • TLRT_TARO_CNT

  • TLRT_TARO_ADM

  • TLRT_TARO_DOC

  • TLRT_TRADE_ID

The existing write, delete and reload programs of archiving object TRTM_FTR now also consider the corresponding trade repository objects and the external trade IDs.

When a trade repository object is not archivable this leads to a non-archivability of the corresponding financial transaction and vice versa, when a financial transaction or one of its sub-entities are not archivable the corresponding TARO cannot be archived.

Effects on System Administration

  • Final records are archived using the Archive Development Kit (ADK). See also: Archiving with the Archive Development Kit (ADK).

  • The new archiving object TRTM_TARO is ILM-enabled. The corresponding ILM object is TRTM_TARO.

    You have to set a link between the ILM object TRTM_TARO and the audit area Archiving using transaction ILMARA. Then you can define residence rules for the trade repository objects in function ILM Policies (transaction IRMPOL). When you have to report to more than one trade repository you can define the residence time of the TAROs dependent on the specific trade repositories.
