Mass Change of Recipes

With this function, you can execute mass changes for recipes.

In the standard system, the following data can be changed:

  • General data

  • Formula items

  • Mass creation for recipe versions

Creation of Reports, Using Windows Wordprocessor Integration (WWI)

With Windows Wordprocessor Integration (WWI), you can use the following functions to create reports for specifications or recipes:

  • Trigger the creation of WWI reports for recipes

  • Display of released WWI reports

  • Creation of ad-hoc reports (from template)

  • WWI report templates with new symbols for recipes

Functional Enhancements for Specifications

With this business function, you can use the following new functions for specifications:

  • Enhancements to change management

  • Copying of specifications in one step

  • Fast entry screen for specifications

  • Access control management for specifications for collaboration with external partners

Functional Enhancements for Recipes

With this business function, you can use the following new functions for recipes:

  • Display and change of multiple recipes simultaneously (see Display and Change of Multiple Recipes)

You can display or change the formula data and calculation results for multiple recipes simultaneously. You can copy multiple recipes simultaneously or create multiple recipe versions simultaneously

  • Explosion simulation (see Simulation)

You can simulate how the recipe data changes if you select different explosion paths.

  • Equipment requirements for process elements (see Equipment Requirement)

You can assign equipment requirements to describe the resources that are required for the entire process as well as on the levels of stage, operation, or action.

  • Processing of streams in the Process view

If you have the necessary authoriations, you can create and change streams during the process editing.

  • Explosion report (see Explosion)

If a specification or an input item is the primary output of other recipes, you can specify here an explosion recipe that the system uses during explosion. The system then always uses this recipe when exploding the reicpe.

  • Plant-Dependent Recipes (see Plant Dependency)

You can assign a plant to recipes with an appropriate recipe type. The plant is not the plant in which the recipe is developed, but the plant where the recipe is meant to be used for production. You can use different plants for different alternative recipes.

  • Alternative items for the primary output

If the recipe type allows it, you can also specify alternative items for the primary output, and assign different specifications and different materials there. However, you cannot mark this alternative as Alternative Used, since the primary output is always defined by the recipe.

  • Creation of specifications during recipe processing

  • Property specification (see Property Specification)

You can assign a property specification to a recipe, to save additional recipe information in a property tree. The new specification type RECIPE_WUI was introduced for this purpose.

  • Download of recipe data (see Download of Recipe Data)

You can download the data of one or multiple recipes in different formats, to compare the recipe data.

  • Enhanced business content for Business Context Viewer (BCV) (see SAP Business Content for Business Context Viewer in Recipe Development)

You now also have access to the following information in the side panel in the BCV:

    • Quantities of formula items, input substances, and compositions

    • Calculated price

    • Minimum, maximum, or current quantity for formula items

    • Status and validity

  • Own work center for synchronizing recipes with manufacturing BOMs

Functional Enhancements for Labeling

With this business function, you can use the following new functions for labeling:

  • Improved usability

  • Changes made to the ingredients list can be reversed

  • Modification functions in the ingredients list now also display the corresponding source elements.

  • Labels can be defined for multiple target locations, such as countries or regions, with multiple languages. In this way, you can take into account legal regulations or language features for a particular location.

Compliance Check

With the compliance check, you can check whether a product fills particular requirements (see Compliance Check in Recipe Development)
