You can create new recycling partners in your system and also change existing recycling partners. To use the sample master data supplied, proceed as follows:
Select one of the XML files containing sample master data supplied by SAP. For more information, see SAP Note 1515357.
Import the selected XML file into a system in your system landscape that is upstream from the productive system.
Note
The sample master data contains short texts for the logon language English only. These short texts are, however, in the habitual national language of the sample recycling partner.
If necessary, adapt the sample master data according to your requirements using the applications for editing recycling partner master data.
You must check this sample master data carefully after the import and, if necessary, adapt it to your specific contractual agreements before you use it in your processes.
In certain circumstances, you must also check and adjust the Customizing that is relevant for recycling partners, depending on the newly created recycling partner master data.
If you want to use other logon languages, you must create the short texts for these languages.
Export your recycling partner master data to an XML file.
Import the data in the XML file into the productive system in your system landscape.
In this system, you must also check and adjust the Customizing that is relevant for the recycling partner.
For more information about the tools for import and export, see Wizards: Import/Export Recycling Partner Master Data.
