 BOM to BOM Synchronization Enhancements

 

With this feature the following new functions are available for synchronizing an engineering BOM with a manufacturing BOM:

  • Highly customizable reconciliation workbench UI

  • Object dependency editing on the reconciliation workbench

  • Re-create deleted target BOM items from the source structure

  • Synchronize into an already existing target BOM

  • Compare the attributes of BOM items in the target structure for different change states

  • New conflict type for creating a new change state for an existing source item

  • Material BOM change restriction for GSS-created BOMs

  • Overview of the mapping relations between source and target items with a quantity comparison

  • Restructuring target items during synchronization

    • Distribution of a source item into multiple target BOM items across different BOMs

    • Copy or move items across different MBOMs

    • Create a new BOM item based on a different BOM item from another MBOM

    • Duplicate item

    • Move to Clipboard

    • Quantity editing for the target MBOM and BOM items

    • Change the position number for BOM items

    • Create item for multiple MBOMs

    • Terminate item

    • Move to clipboard and terminate
