 Creating a Requisition Using Referencing Technique

To save time, you can copy items from an existing requisition into the requisition you are creating or changing. To reference another requisition, you must know the number of the requisition containing the items you wish to adopt.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Requisition Next navigation step Create End of the navigation path .

The initial screen appears.

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Requisition Next navigation step Copy reference Next navigation step Purchase requisition Next navigation step . End of the navigation path

  2. Enter the number of the reference requisition and - if known - the numbers of the reference items to be copied in the dialog box which now appears.

The overview of the reference items appears.

  1. Select the items you wish to adopt.

  2. Choose one of the following menu paths:

  3. – If you want to change the selected items before copying, choose Edit Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Selections Next navigation step Edit Next navigation step Adopt Next navigation step + End of the navigation path details.

    Make your changes on the item detail screen for each item you have selected.

    – If you want to copy the selected items without changing them first, choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Selections Next navigation step Edit Next navigation step Adopt Next navigation step . End of the navigation path

    The Item overview screen of the new requisition appears, with the copied items. You can add additional items, or adopt further items from another purchase requisition.

  4. Save the purchase requisition.
