This function provides you with a central overview of all the important search functions in spare parts procurement. It also enables you to call other functions from the work overview so you can display detailed information or continue processing documents.

The following search functions are available in the standard system:

  • You can search for orders to check their status or process them.

    From the results list, you can call other functions including create, copy, change, delete, and print orders.

  • You can search for order items with parts to be returned that the importer has flagged as parts to be returned in the back-end system.

    From the results list, you can create a return order for these items.

  • You can search for deliveries that the importer has created for your orders in the back-end system.

    From the results list, you can select a delivery and display detailed information and create a return order for this delivery.

  • You can search for invoices that the importer has created for your orders and his or her deliveries in the back-end system.

    From the results list, you can display detailed information for an invoice as well as its associated orders and deliveries. In addition, you can create return orders for spare parts based on the relevant invoice.

  • You can search for materials and display information from the material master record, the availability check and price information for these materials.

Prerequisites

To be able to search for order items with parts to be returned, you have already implemented the CHECK_RETURNABLE_PART method of the SPP_CHECK_RETPART (Verification of Part to be Returned) Business Add-In (BAdI).
