 Facts Capture Categories

Definition

In the Claims Management system, there are predefined points in the screen sequences, known as facts capture categories, for which you can execute structured facts capture with questions and answers.

Examples of facts capture categories:

  • Participant

    You can enter questions and answers with regards to the participant.

  • Origin of Loss

  • Invoice

Use

If you want to use structure facts capture in other places in addition to those provided by SAP, you can define own facts capture categories.

Display of Documentation on Individual Facts Capture Categories

All the facts capture categories delivered by SAP are documented in Customizing.

To display the documentation:

  1. Choose IMG activity Enhance Facts Capture Categories (IMG path: Start of the navigation path SAP Insurance Next navigation step Claims Management Next navigation step Claim Next navigation step Structuring Business Processes Next navigation step Structured Facts Capture Next navigation step Enhance Facts Capture Categories End of the navigation path ).

  2. Click the line of the facts capture category whose documentation you wish to view.

  3. Choose with the quick info text Display Documentation .

If you create own facts capture categories, you can document these as well.
