Procedure

  1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation path Insurance Next navigation step Claims Management Next navigation step Bundle Next navigation step Accident Event Next navigation step Search End of the navigation path.

    The Change Claim Bundle: Accident Event Search screen appears.

  2. Enter the required search criteria.

    The following search criteria are available:

    • Claim Bundle Number (entry is also possible as an interval)

    • Claim Bundle Type

      Use the input help to choose Accident Event .

    • Claim Bundle Subtype

      Use the input help to choose Accident Questionnaire or Accident with Subrogation/Recovery .

    • Accident Date

    • Recovery Claim Type

    • Participant Data

  3. Choose Enter.

    The accident events found by the system are displayed in the Hit List section.

  4. Check whether the accident event you are searching for appears in the hit list.

    From the hit list, you have the following navigation options:

    • You can call the accident event in display mode.

      To do so, proceed as follows:

      1. Select the line with the accident event.

      2. Choose Display Claim Bundle (Display Claim Bundle).

    • You can call the accident event in change mode.

      To do so, click on the relevant number in the Claim Bundle column.

  5. If the accident event you are searching for does not appear in the hit list, you can create the accident event.

    To do so, choose Create Accident Event in the toolbar.
