Improved UI for User Status on Header Level

This function provides you with an enhanced user interface (UI) for setting the user status on header level. It is available in maintenance orders, maintenance notifications, and technical objects. All the user statuses that have been entered in the corresponding status profile are listed in the drop-down list for the new Set User Status pushbutton. In this list you can set a user status and even reset it, if allowed.

Effects on Existing Data

For processing maintenance orders, maintenance notifications, functional locations and equipment, the SAP Web User Interface for Plant Maintenance has been modified as follows:

The Status Information, where you can assign a status profile, is no longer a pushbutton, but rather can be accessed via the menu Additional Functions Status Information .
All the user statuses in the assigned status profile are listed in the drop-down list for the Set User Status pushbutton. You can set and reset all the user statuses that are not grayed out directly from the list. If a status that has been set can be reset, Reset Status: prefaces the name of the status in the list.
The technical IDs of the user statuses that are set for the current order, notification, or technical object are displayed in the Identification Region. The descriptions of these user statuses are displayed in a tooltip.
