Configure Internal Claim Types

On the
Configure Internal Claim Types
initial screen, choose

On the following
Create Claim Type
dialog screen, enter the following data:
Key of internal claim type
Name of the internal claim type
Date from which the version of the internal claim type is valid
Choose
Continue
.
The system displays the newly created internal claim type on the
Configure Internal Claim Types
screen in the list of internal claim types.
Mark the internal claim type.
In the
Processing
section, set the relevant indicator (
Claim Header, Subclaim, Damaged Objects, Claim Item Group
) and choose
Change
.
Enter data for all four data areas (claim header, subclaim, damaged objects, claim item group).
Activate the internal claim type
To do so, choose
with the quick info text
Activate.
If any errors occur during activation, correct them.
Assign the internal claim type to a combination of policy product and incident type.

Test the new internal claim type by creating a claim that uses this internal claim type.
You can use an existing internal claim type as a template and adjust the settings to suit your requirements.
To do so, proceed as follows:

Import the transport request of the base entities, policy product, and internal claim type.
Activate the internal claim type.
Activate the policy product.
