 Advanced Search for Pegging Alternatives

Use

You can search for receipt elements belonging to other pegging areas. The following search criteria are available:

  • Location or product

  • Account assignment

    This is mostly used in the make-to-order scenario.

  • Date from or to

  • Characteristic evaluation

Integration

You can also access this feature from the order processing screen.

Features

  • Display Pegging Areas

    Indicates that the selection screen containing the selected pegging areas should be displayed.

  • Check Characteristic Values of Requirements

    Indicates that characteristic values of the receipts are to be considered.

  • Check Requirements

    Indicates that the user would like to enter requirements’ values for characteristic values, when searching for alternative receipts from other pegging areas.

    You can select this checkbox only after you have selected the checkbox Check Characteristic Values of Requirements .

Activities

  • From the Pegging Overview tab on the product view, choose the Alternative Recpts pushbutton to search for alternative receipt elements.

    The Select Alternate Products and Locations dialog box is displayed. Choose your desired criteria and Execute . The search results are displayed as a list, where all alternative pegging areas are shown.

  • You can select the desired pegging area.

    The system displays the receipt elements of the selected pegging area.
