This DataSource provides access to case movement data from the source system.

The DataSource should be reloaded after hospital structures and business partner data has been migrated, since the values assigned to the key fields may have changed (see under Extractor Logic in this documentation).

Prerequisites

Data Modeling

Delta Update

The AIED delta process (After-Images with Deletion Flag Using Extractor (FI-GL/AP/AR)) with generic delta using a time stamp (TIMESTAMP field) is used for this DataSource.

The system takes the maximum for the time stamp interval for the delta upload and delta init upload from the last delta or delta init in the SAP BI Delta Queue for the leading object Case (DataSource IS-H: DataSource for InfoProvider Case (Delta-Enabled) (0HC_PATCASE_ATTR)).

Since the actual case movements do not get a time stamp in the OLTP system, the DataSource always extracts all case movements for a case together.

If case movements in SAP Patient Management do not have an end date (movement end date = 12/31/.9999), SAP BI also extracts case movements for the cases that have already been loaded. The system delimits these in the extraction using the loading date that SAP Patient Management provides in the TODAT field in the extraction for use in SAP BI.

Extractor Logic

As concerns the movement extraction, the extractor replaces the EC-EIS generic extraction for the Healthcare component. It cannot be combined with Healthcare Content up to and including Release 3.51. You can only use it with the Healthcare General content. For canceled case-related movements, SAP Patient Management transfers the value 'D' in the STORN field to SAP BI along with all other attributes that are defined in the source system when cancellation is carried out.

The COUNTER field contains the value 1 for each record.

The system retrieves the preceding and next organizational unit from the corresponding movements.

Since you can also use this DataSource to update the master data for the Movement characteristic (0HC_MOVEMNT) in SAP BI, it replaces the IS-H: DataSource for Movements for Cases (0HC_MOVEMNT_ATTR). The simultaneous update of the transaction data and master data ensures data consistency and replaces the redundant extraction.

You can only specify the selection criteria EINRI and FALNR for a FULL upload. If you specify these selection criteria for a delta init upload or a delta upload, the system issues an error message since the selection criteria for these upload methods are inherited from the leading object Case.

The controlling area is taken from the institution (table TN01). The fiscal year variant comes from the controlling area.
