 Scheduling a Planning Job

Prerequisites

  1. See Release of the Demand Plan to SNP .

  2. Create a release profile .

  3. Create an activity .

  4. Create a planning job .

Procedure

  1. From the SAP Easy Access menu, choose Start of the navigation path Demand Planning Next navigation step Planning Next navigation step Demand Planning in the Background Next navigation step Schedule Demand Planning in the Background End of the navigation path .

  2. Enter the job name.

  3. Choose Start of the navigation path Program Next navigation step Execute End of the navigation path .

  4. In the Start Time dialog box, specify when you wish the job to start running.

  5. Choose Save .

Result

The system carries out the planning job at the time specified. To check the job status, choose Start of the navigation path Demand Planning Next navigation step Planning Next navigation step Demand Planning in the Background Next navigation step Job Overview of Demand Planning in the Background End of the navigation path .
