If you are using SAP GUI for Java on Mac OS X, there are a number of special features to note. The following figure shows the Apple menu bar with an SAP Graphics window.

Additional Options

The following additional options for editing graphics are available to you in the SAP GUI for Java menus on Mac OS X:

  • Copying the display area to the clipboard

    To copy the display area to the clipboard, choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Copy End of the navigation path.

  • Changing font, font size, and style

    To change the font, choose Start of the navigation path Settings Next navigation step Font End of the navigation path. To change the style (bold, italics, and so on), choose Start of the navigation path Settings Next navigation step Style End of the navigation path.

    To change the font size, choose Start of the navigation path Settings Next navigation step Font Next navigation step Minimal Size End of the navigation path.

  • Displaying open SAP Graphics windows

    The Window menu contains a list of all windows for the current graphics application. You can make any window your active window by selecting it.

  • Ending/canceling work

    The following options are available to you in the main Apple menu:

    • To close the currently active window, choose Start of the navigation path File Next navigation step Close End of the navigation path or click the close icon.

    • To close all windows, choose Start of the navigation path File Next navigation step Quit End of the navigation path in the main Apple menu.

  • Printing a Graphic

    If you are using SAP GUI for Java on Mac OS X, you can also print through the Apple main menu as follows:

    1. Set the print parameters. To do this, choose Start of the navigation path File Next navigation step Page Setup End of the navigation path.

    2. Print the graphic. To do this, choose Start of the navigation path File Next navigation step Print End of the navigation path.

Other Features
  • Resizing windows

    Position the mouse pointer to the bottom right corner of your SAP Graphics window. The mouse pointer changes into the resize symbol. Hold down the mouse button and drag the mouse to resize the window.

  • Displaying hidden menus

    If your SAP Graphics window is too small to display all menus contained in its menu bar, the menu symbol is displayed in the menu bar.

    Click on it to display the hidden menus and options.

  • Activating the alternative mouse button

    Keep the mouse button pressed while pressing the command key.

    For example, you require the alternative mouse button function to display the function keys of your current SAP Graphics application.
