Changing the Attributes of the Control

This section lists all of the methods you can use to change the list tree.

• Inserting, Changing, and Deleting Items (With Nodes)

  add_nodes_and_items	Adds a set of items (and their nodes)
  delete_all_items_of_nodes	Deletes all items for a list of nodes
  delete_items	Deletes a set of items
  update_nodes_and_items	Changes a list of items (and their nodes)

• Changing Individual Items

  Method	Description
  item_set_chosen	Sets a checkbox in the tree to selected
  item_set_disabled	Deactivates an entry in the table
  item_set_editable	Sets whether a checkbox can be changed
  item_set_font	Sets the font for the item
  item_set_hidden	Makes an item invisible
  item_set_style	Sets the style of an item
  item_set_text	Changes the text of an item
  item_set_t_image	Changes the icon of an item
  item_set_alignment	Sets the alignment of the item
  item_set_length	Sets the displayed length of the item

• Expanding Nodes

  expand_node	Expands a particular node
  expand_nodes	Expands a set of nodes
  expand_root_nodes	Expands all root nodes

• Selecting Nodes

  set_selected_node	Selects a particular node
  select_nodes	Selects a list of nodes
  unselect_all	Deselects all seleceted nodes and items
  unselect_nodes	Deselects a set of nodes

• Deleting Nodes

  delete_all_nodes	Deletes all nodes from the tree
  delete_node	Deletes a particular node from the tree
  delete_nodes	Deletes a set of nodes from the tree

• Changing the Attributes of a Node

  Method	Description
  node_set_disabled	Deactivates nodes
  node_set_expander	Sets the expander attribute.
  node_set_exp_image	Sets expanded node icon
  node_set_hidden	Hides a node
  node_set_is_folder	Sets the is_folder attribute
  node_set_no_branch	Sets whether the hierarchy line is drawn to the node
  node_set_n_image	Sets the non-expanded node icon
  node_set_style	Sets the style of the node
  node_set_last_hierarchy_item	Specifies the last item of a node that appears under the hierarchy heading
  node_set_dragdropid	Sets the drag and drop behavior of a node

  hierarchy_header_set_t_image	Changes the icon of the hierarchy heading

  hierarchy_header_set_tooltip	Changes the tooltip of the hierarchy heading

  hierarchy_header_adjust_width	Adjusts the width of the hierarchy heading

  list_header_set_t_image	Changes the icon of the list heading

• Configuring Keyboard Events

  add_key_stroke	Sets a key to trigger an event
  remove_all_key_strokes	Deregisters all keys that were registered to trigger an event
