
A hypertext structure is a tree structure comprising nodes.
Each node has a title and refers technically to an object which is stored and accessed as an independent unit. The existence of the object does not depend on the structure.

A node can link to another structure. When you are editing a structure, structures which it contains are only visible as nodes without subnodes. The structure is only displayed with all its nodes in display mode.
As the documents are usually not displayed with the structure maintenance transaction SDOCU, this transaction has no authorization check. The usual transaction is required to create, display and edit hypertext structures.
