Web Servers for Document Classes |
You can use this transaction to define one or more Web servers for a logical document class. A certain location is specified for each host (see Locations).
Specify the name of the Web server by entering the associated HTTP port and (if necessary) the HTTPS port. You need to specify the HTTPS port if you want to enable HTTPS access on the Web server.
Usually, the location of the Web server is the deciding factor in which Web server is used to for display purposes. However, is there is no Web server at a particular location, the default Web server is used.
You can create a number of entries with different host names for the same document space. This makes load distribution possible.
