Use

You can personalize the settings for troubleshooting.

Choose Start of the navigation path Settings Next navigation step Advanced Next navigation step Support End of the navigation path.

The Support dialog box appears.

The table explains the settings for support information:

Name

Description

Trace Level

A trace file contains information about errors occurring during NWBC runtime. Depending on the trace level, the trace file also contains additional information that can help developers isolate a specific problem.

Set the required trace level. Error is the default setting.

Trace files are saved in a subdirectory of the personal files directory on the computer of the user that is logged on.

Microsoft Windows Server 2003, the path is:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\SAP\NWBC\Traces

For 7all other operating systems, the path is:

C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\SAP\NWBC\Traces

Trace files are called NWBC*, for example, NWBCClient.log.

The following options are available:

  • Verbose

    Highest trace level

  • Details

    Information about internal processes

  • Information

    General information

  • Error

    Only errors (default setting)

Warning Before Running Script

Define that a warning message is displayed when starting NWBC by using a Visual Basic script.
