You need to have SAP NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC) installed on your computer, or access to a Windows Terminal Server on which NWBC is installed.
Operating System
NWBC supports Microsoft operating systems which are listed within the SAP PAM (Product Availability Matrix).
Hardware
The hardware prerequisites for NWBC are the same as for the SAP GUI.

We recommend at least 1 GB memory. The actual memory consumption depends on the number of windows open.
We recommend a minimum screen size of 1024x768, though your screen should preferably be larger.

SAP GUI 7.20 with level 8 or higher
Microsoft .Net 3.5 SP1 or higher
If you use Microsoft Windows Server 2003, you need to install Microsoft Hotfix 919479. For more information, see 7.2 Use of Digital Certificates .
If you intend to use the Web Dynpro ABAP UI elements Network and Gantt , you need the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.6.11 (see http://www.java.com/downloads).
Note that 64-bit JDK is not supported.

If you have already installed an older NWBC version, we recommend that you uninstall it using Add or Remove Programs (in Windows Control Panel ), and then install the current version.
To install NWBC on your computer, proceed as follows:
Close all open front-end applications.
Open the setup file by double-clicking it in the installation folder.
If you use Windows 7, open the context menu of the setup file and choose Run as Administrator .
The installation wizard opens.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
