Function documentationRefreshing the Item List

If you want to undo all the changes that you have made during your enhanced interactive backorder processing (eBOPI) session (manually or by using ATP checks), you must refresh the item list. The Refresh function updates the items with the real-time quantities and dates from the SAP liveCache (including the recent updates that came from the ERP system during the eBOPI session). The lock status of the items is also updated.

To use eBOPI, you must activate the business function SCM-APO-ATP, Enhanced Interactive Backorder Processing (SCM_APO_ATP_2).

Features

The Refresh function works differently for unsaved item lists and saved item lists. The differences are explained in the following sections.

Note Note

An unsaved item list is an item list that you have not saved. Therefore, it is only available for the current eBOPI session. If you save an item list (which is optional), you can continue processing the saved item list in the same eBOPI session or call it up later in a new eBOPI session. For more information, see Saving the Item List.

End of the note.
Refresh of an Unsaved Item List

The Refresh function reloads the current items in the item list. However, items that you removed from the item list previously during the current eBOPI session are not reloaded.

Note that the system sorts the items again and assigns corresponding ATP check sequence numbers to them, as follows:

  • Sorting

In the refreshed list, the items are sorted alphanumerically according to the following data:

    • Order number

    • Number of the main item (only relevant for subitems that were created by a rules-based ATP check)

    • Item number

  • ATP check sequence

The system sets the sequence numbers according to the new sorting. The item at the top of the refreshed list is assigned the number 10, the next item is assigned 20, and so on.

Refresh of a Saved Item List

The Refresh function reloads the items from the saved item list on the database (including the temporary quantity assignments). Consequently, the refresh function also retrieves the items that you have deleted earlier during the eBOPI session. If you have added items to the item list and have not saved the list yet, these items are removed.

In the refreshed list, the items are sorted according to their ATP check sequence in the saved item list.
