SAP MaxDB

Use

SAP → MaxDB™ is SAP's own database. It is specifically designed to provide lower total cost of ownership (TCO) for SAP applications. SAP solutions use SAP MaxDB to store both application logic and business data. The database is a central component of any SAP solution installation and provides the basis for its reliability

SAP MaxDB is a robust and reliable technology, optimized to run all major SAP solutions, for example:

SAP MaxDB is based on database industry standards and can be used seamlessly for non-SAP applications as well.
