Use

The ODS object License Acquisition Contract (Rights-Relevant Items) contains all the rights items from the license acquisition contracts (license acquisition contract and service contract).

The ODS object License Acquisition Contract (Rights-Relevant Items) is a preliminary step for staging the license acquisition and service contract data in the downstream data destinations. This ODS object has not been implemented for evaluation purposes in the first instance, but can be used in this way if necessary.

The InfoCubes License Acquisition Contract (Rights-Relevant Items) and Service Contract (Rights-Relevant Items ) are updated from the ODS object License Acquisition Contract (Rights-Relevant Items).

Delta Update

The central objective of this ODS object is to provide downstream data targets with the delta update. Since the After Image/Delete (AIMD) delta procedure is used in the DataSources for IPM (and CRM), the Before Image required for the delta update must be provided from the ODS object . The ODS object is therefore mandatory for the data update in the delta mode.
