Configure Service Component Task PanelLocate this document in the navigation structure

The Configure Service Component task panel enables you to define attributes for a service component. A service component is a customized data service, containing one or more data services that you manipulate to provide the data you require in a single service component.

To view the Configure Service Component task panel:

  1. From the Components area, drag and drop a Service Component onto the Design board.

  2. Right-click the Service Component, then in the context menu, select Drill Down.

    A new tab opens in the Design board.

  3. Click the Configure task panel.

    The Configure Service Component task panel appears.

The name of the service component, in read-only format.

Runtime

The runtime provider to be used when deploying this service component.

Keywords

Free text that describes the service component, to be used for searching and grouping purposes.

Categories

Category entries used to group similar service components together.
