 On-Time Response to Redirection Purchase Orders

Use

One criterion for the delivery performance of your supplier is the on-time response to redirection purchase orders. To check whether your suppliers respond to redirection purchase orders on time, the system compares the goods shipping date confirmed in the supplier confirmation with the goods shipping date that your supplier specified in the ASN.

Features

If the goods shipping date in the supplier confirmation agrees with the goods shipping date in the ASN, give or take a buffer, the system rates the response to redirection purchase orders as on time. This means that the response of your supplier to a redirection purchase order is on time if the following conditions are met:

  • The goods shipping time in the supplier confirmation is less than or equal to the goods shipping time in the ASN plus your entry in the Days in the Future field.

  • The goods shipping time in the supplier confirmation is greater than or equal to the goods shipping time in the ASN minus your entry in the Days in the Past field.

If the following cases occur, the response of your supplier to a redirection purchase order is not on time:

  • The above conditions are not met.

  • You supplier sent a supplier confirmation but then canceled it.

  • Your supplier sent a supplier confirmation, but the system set it to Closed because the notified goods did not arrive on time.
