  Transferring Actual Data

Use

Actual data is transferred from the planning area CP: Sales and Promotions – Planned+Actual (4TPM2000) to the planning area CP: Sales Planning with Promotions (4TPM1000). Subsequently the key figure values are available in both disaggregated form and aggregated form for the characteristics hierarchy nodes. You have quick and easy access to the historical data for your planning. You also vertically distribute planning requirements acrosslower hierarchy levels.

Procedure

  1. In the SAP Easy Access screen , choose Strategic Enterprise Management -> Business Planning and Simulation ->Cross-Application Planning ->Planning Workbench .

  2. In the planning area CP: Sales Planning with Promotions (4TPM1000), choose the planning level Actual Data Transfer (4TPM1100). Next select the planning function Data Transfer Actual ->Planned InfoCube (4TPM1110) and update the parameter sets. The planning function is set so that key figuresand characteristic values are transferred for one fiscal year period. You can call the planning function more than once within one month. Previously transferred data for a fiscal year period is then overwritten with the up-to-date key figure values .If required you can make changes to the default parameters.

  3. Call the Copy Actual Data parameter set (4TPM1111). The requested data is then transferred from planning area CP: Sales and Promotions Planned+Actual (4TPM2000) to the buffer.

  4. Save to finish. The data is then transferred from the buffer to planning area Sales Planning with Promotions (4TPM1000).

Result

The actual data selected can be found in the planning area CP: Sales Planning with Promotions (4TPM1000).
