Creating/Changing a Multiple Assembly You can extend an assembly to a multiple assembly by adding more assembly alternatives so that you can maintain plant-specific alternative breakdowns for a material.
You have created an assembly for the material for which you want to create a multiple assembly.
Load the assembly group (
) for the material in the navigation tree.
Double-click the assembly header (
) in the navigation area.
The details for the assembly header appear.
Choose the
Alternatives
tab page
.
Enter the assembly alternatives for the required alternative breakdowns, and a description if necessary, and choose
Continue
.
Select the assembly alternative that you wish to assign the assembly item to and choose
Choose Alternative
.
The details for the alternative are displayed.
Enter the assembly items and the corresponding materials on the
Assembly Items
tab page.
The assembly items can be new or already used in other assembly alternatives.

Assembly Relationships
tab page.
Save your entries.
